PHotoEspaña's call for submissions to the Best Photography Book Award 2014 is open through March 1, 2014. The award recognizes the year's most notable editorial work in photography and is open to publishers and editors of any nationality who submit photography books published between March 1, 2013 and March 1, 2014. Judges will evaluate each publication's concept, design, and graphic quality, as well as the publisher's track record. Last year's award winners were: Best Photography Book in the National Category: Urbes Mutantes 1941-2012. Latin American Photography, Published by RM / Toluca Éditions Best Photography Book in the International Category: The Little Black Jacket, by Karl Lagerfeld and Carinne Roitfeld, published by Steidl Publishers Outstanding Publishing House of the Year Award: Hatje Kantz Special Mention: Photo Express: Tokyo, by Keizo Kitajima, published by Steidl Publishers (Germany).
