Pablo Siquier

The exhibition entitled Siquier: Murals and Installations by artist Pablo Siquier, was recently inaugurated. Consisting of works that illustrate Siquier's highly physical and environmental perception, the exhibition will remain open to the public until April 4 at the Centro Cultural Recoleta. The show begins with a display of Siquier's first installations created during the end of the 1980s and beginning of the 1990s, as well as an environment piece on wood with endless little dots painted by hand that the artist had screened at the time but never actually finished. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalog that includes other projects by Siquier like the murals exhibited at the "Carlos Pellegrini" building that is part of the underground system in Buenos Aires: the vinyl mural that measures 5 × 54 meters, created with charcoal, and the polystyrene installation at the Reina Sofía in Madrid, among others.
