The Board of Directors of the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria recently approved the appointment of Orlando Britto Jinorio as new artistic director of the art center. Orlando Britto Jinorio (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1963) is a historian, art critic, independent curator of exhibitions and cultural manager. During his professional trajectory of more than 25 years he has managed contemporary art spaces, headed curatorships, and organized and directed international contemporary art events.
