From June 6 to November 25 Havre Magasinet presents the exhibition titled "One As Another" curated by the Colombian Mariangela Méndez.
Through the work of contemporary artists from various countries, the exhibition "One As Another" explores the way in which solidarity, happiness, sadness, aspirations, illusions, curiosity, hope and fear are interconnected. The works in the exhibition openly recognize the effects of cultural encounters. They favor mixing and unions over segregation, influences and exchanges over any pretense of "pure" origin. Such coexistence of beliefs and points of view increasingly lead to encounters and interaction and in most instances do not reinforce separation or opposition. They propose a central space, a common ground in which to recognize—despite any differences—in all the multitudes that we celebrate, that we are all the same.
The participating artists are: Benvenuto Chavajay (Guatemala), Nicolás Consuegra (Colombia), Carola Grahn (Sweden), Ana González (Colombia), Carlos Jacanamijoy (Colombia), Dylan Miner (Canada), Sandra Monterroso (Guatemala), Delcy Morelos (Colombia), Joar Nango (Norway), Mattias Olofsson (Sweden), Edinson Quiñones (Colombia), Liliana Sánchez (Colombia), Pablo Sigg (Mexico), Eduardo Soriano (Colombia).
