Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as primary spokesperson for NaderLAAM in order to increase awareness for the museum and its programs.
Direct the museum staff and mentor them in the histories behind the exhibited artworks with a detailed knowledge of the collection.
Source and acquire artworks to expand and enrich the museum collection.
Catalogue or classify artworks and maintain complete records.
Coordinate with relevant experts in the restoration and preservation of artworks.
Organize and supervise the display of artworks and ensure safety of traveling displays.
Oversee production of museum promotional and informational literatures.
Educational Requirements
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; a graduate degree(s) is highly preferable. Evidence of continuing education in museum management, general business, finance, marketing or related disciplines would be expected.
