The Frost Art Museum presents until March 30, 2014 an exhibition by Colombian artist Miler Lagos titled LAT 65.31N LONG 114.13W and curated by Francine Birbragher.
During Lagos's residency in the Canadian Arctic, in 2011, he inquired about the experiences of ancient explorers in that region, explorers that contributed to an understanding of the natural resources available in this remote area of the world.
For this reason, the project was developed in a geographic area where, since the 19th Century, European explorers were based in pursuit of what could be called "The Botanical Expedition of the Canadian Arctic."
