Peruvian writer, curator and researcher Miguel López was appointed new head curator of TEOR/éTica, a non-profit and private independent project. Selected by a committee formed by curators Tamara Díaz-Bringas, Sofía Hernández, Chong Cuy and Emiliano Valdés, Miguel López has a vast curatorial trajectory supported by research proposals and artistic processes in Central America and the Caribbean. He has curated several projects in Europe and Latin America. Standing out among them are: "Altered Pulse. Intensities in the MUAC Collection and its Associated Collections" (2013), a curatorship of the collection of the Museo Universitario of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in collaboration with curator Sol Henaro; and "Losing the Human Form. A Seismic Image of the 1980s in Latin America" (2012), a research project on the incidences between artistic practices and activism during the 1980s, sponsored by the Southern Conceptualisms Network. During 2012 and 2014 López was guess curator at the Lugar a Dudas cultural space in Cali, Colombia. He recently published a selection of writings by philosopher, activist and drag queen, Giuseppe Campuzano entitled Saturday Night Thriller y Otros Escritos, 1998-2013 (Saturday Night Thriller and Other Writings, 1998-2013), published by Estruendomudo, Lima, 2013)
