The sculptor, engraver, installation and conceptual artist, amazed the public with his assembled sculptures made mainly of raw tree trunk pieces. These materials were generally rescued from the saw-pit or from fallen trees. Furthermore, he uses found objects in his works as well as nails and raw cut wood that can be easily assembled. For the Art Circle work, Rosario reuses his traditional technique: wood with cut pieces pasted on it. All the works were hand built by sculptor Masaro Pérez. The sculpture consists of a ¿maceta¿ a two-clawed hammer used in everyday life at the kitchen which was also a weapon for women to defend themselves and is no longer used nowadays. He fills up the ¿maceta¿ with objects mostly used by men in sports. The object becomes a hybrid were male and female roles blend together, creating a new order of things. The current one. He calls it Device, an object that may have been a utilitarian one, an intimidating one, through which to implement new ways of seduction and/or persuasion. An object pregnant with social load, like most of his works. As stated by the artist, this work ends a phase of his career.
