Lucía Nebel Lorenzo il Magnifico Award

Colombian artist Lucía Nebel has been awarded the Lorenzo il Magnifico (Lorenzo the Magnificent) Award for her work entitled De lo Sagrado lo Profano (From the Sacred, the Profane). The piece is a small-format sculpture created with mixed metals with which the artist wants to convey the destruction of the pre-Columbian object and culture. The artist received the award after being chosen from a group of eight hundred artists representing the 73 countries that participated in this event.
