"Latin America: Endless Transformation"

The RedLine Contemporary Art Center is a non-profit cultural institution that seeks to foster education and engage artists with communities to create positive social transformation. With this goal in mind, the center organizes exhibitions featuring artists from Colorado and sometimes from around the world. "Latin America: Endless Transformation" explores the continuous social, political and cultural changes in Latin America. The works by the participating artists explore the ways in which communities reconfigure their own collective identity, a continuous transformation reflected in the artistic movements occurring in Latin America. Through performances, installations, videos, paintings, and photography, the artists experiment with various aspects of identity such as patriotism, community, citizenship, the pursuit of happiness, freedom, equal rights, and activism. The exhibition is curated by Marisa Caichiolo, whose work has focused on examining contemporary art practices, particularly those from Latin America. The exhibition includes the participation of the following artists: Yana Clark, Ángel Delgado, Diana Drews, Carlos Estévez, Rodolfo de Florencia, Andrea Juan, Norton Maza, Marco Miranda, Eugenia Vargas-Pereira, Ángel Ricardo Ricardo Ríos, Ricardo Rodríguez, and Betsabeé Romero.
