LA to LA, First Public Exhibition of the Sayago & Pardon Collection

Sayago & Pardon will present the first ever public exhibition of its collection. LA to LA will open to the public from October 5 through October 28 of 2012 at LA Artcore Brewery Annex, in the city of Los Angeles.

Under the curatorship of Cecilia Fajardo-Hill, Adorre Alonso, and Selene Preciado, all curators from the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA, the arrangement of the works will be divided into four categories: Modern Masters, Contemporary Masters, Abstraction, and Pop.

LA to LA includes works by artists David Alfaro Siqueiros, Roberto Matta, Oswaldo Guayasamín, Esterio Segura, Aníbal Catalán, and Marco Maggi among others.

The Sayago & Pardon Collection contains works of modern and contemporary Latin American art. It has more than 500 works from almost every country in Latin America, created by more than 140 artists. The Collection includes paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculpture; works that explore every modern and contemporary artistic current from Latin America.
