Fundación ARS Teorética's Administrative Board (San Jose) announces that - since August 2017, and officially since January 2018 - the institution's Direction is led, as a collective group, by Miguel A. López, M.Paola Malavasi Lachner, Daniela Morales Lisac, Paula Piedra and Dominique Ratton P. This decision is part of a revision and rethinking process of the institution's organization model, a proposal that aims to react to some of the concerns, abilities and desires of the current team. It is a change that reflects ways in which Teor/éTica operates within the organization, ways that aim for decentralization, horizontality and collective participation, both in the decision-making process and in the distribution of responsibilities. The institution sees in this change the possibility to activate new internal spaces, and to mobilize towards other ways of approaching cultural management and the development of artistic practices.
