The Casa de México in Spain opens its doors with the exhibitions Pedro Friedeberg: doctorado en cariátides and Alfredo Castañeda: de la mano del maestro

Pedro Friedeberg: doctorado en cariátides is the first major exhibition in Spain of the artist born in Florence in 1936 and nationalized at the age of three in Mexico. He is a Mexican artist and designer who was part of the Mexican surrealist group that included Mathias Goeritz, Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, among others.
Alfredo Castañeda: de la mano del maestro, an exhibition project that pays tribute to the master Alfredo Castañeda (Mexico 1930-Spain 2010), ten years after his death. The curatorship of the exhibition and the museography was carried out by the architect Fernando Muño in which he presents 32 works set up in two rooms. The show can be visited until September 13.
