She initiates herself in graphic design and at the same time studies drawing and painting at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes de Lima, under the direction of Miguel Nieri y Leonel Verlarde.
For six years she attends Studio 72, where she practiced lithography with Jorge Ara and Agapito.
Towards the end of 1986, she travels to Paris where she meets English artist S. W. Hayter, who teaches her the techniques of modern engraving in the Studio 17 (known today as centrepoint).
In 1990 she earns the license of Fine Arts at the Sorbonne University of Paris I.
Since 1979 she has participated in numerous national and international exhibits, in which the most important are: 24th international painting festival at the Ch`ateau ¿ Museo de Cagner sur mer, Francia (1992), Grand et jeunes d´aujourd¿hui (Grand Palais, Paris), Crac 96 ¿ 5a Biennale of Contemporary Art (Champigny ¿ Francia, 1994), Feria Internacional ARCO 97 ¿ Madrid, "Transformaciones e ingerencias de color" Museo de Arte Italiano, Lima (1997), "Perú Obra Abierta", Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la universidad de Chile, Primera Bienal Nacional de Lima (1998). Her work has earned recognition and awards in the Johnnie Walker contests (Lima 1999 and 1996), Lefranc Bourgeois (Francia 1997), Salón Verano Ancón (1987) in 1984 she is given the Popular and Future award of her promotion Tilsa Tsuchiya of the ENBA, she works and lives in between Lima and París.
