Venezuela's Juan Ruiz Gallery opened its new Miami location last October.
Juan Ruiz Gallery was established in 1993 in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and devoted itself to the promotion of emergent Venezuelan artists. Since 1998, after actively participating in a variety of fairs and exhibitions, the gallery has presented well-established international artists.
Juan Ruiz Gallery is located in Miami's Wynwood Art District and hosts an experimental laboratory for emerging international artists. For its inaugural act, the gallery presented Edén, a solo exhibition by Patricio Reig, and a video-installation by Italian artist Enrico Ferrari-Ardicini.
Currently, Juan Ruiz Gallery is presenting One of Us Can Be Wrong and Other Essays, a show by Cuban artist Rubén Torres Llorca.
