The Centro Cultural Parque de España announces the opening of its call for participation in Joven y Efímero 2010 (Young and Ephemeral 2010). It is not a space intended for young people to showcase their artistic creations, but is also a point of encounter and a space for action. The call welcomes participants under 35 years of age who individually or collectively are able to exhibit, communicate, and promote their creations. Diversity is the most important characteristic of the Joven y Efímero program, thus, its openness to all artistic disciplines and manifestations; theatre; dance; music; painting; film; installation; performance; story; sculpture; illustration; fanzine; video; short-film; poetry; artist¿s book; design; photography; projections, and concerts, among others.
The rules and application form to participate in the Joven y Efímero Program can be found and downloaded at www.ccpe.org.ar or picked up at the Cultural Center. The CCPE/AECID will allocate 1,000 U.S. dollars for each proposal selected, to cover the expenses associated with the production of the work. The projects presented will be subjected to a selection process by a Selection Committee determined by the CCPE that will be made up professionals from a variety of artistic disciplines. Up to 20 proposals will be selected. These will be organized for an exhibition at a time in 2010 yet to be determined.
The deadline to submit all proposals is Monday, March 15, 2010.
