Jacob Karpio Gallery

The Jakob Karpio Gallery turns thirty, and to celebrate the occasion it has organized in San Jose, Costa Rica, where it is located, a series of activities and exhibitions with a multinational roster of artists.

The activities started at the Klaus Steinmentz Gallery with La Encomienda, a group exhibition of works by Peruvian artists. Enmarcarte Gallery joins the celebration with an solo exhibition by Ciro Beltrán, from Chile; so does the MADC, with an Adán Valecillo show.

Meanwhile, the Proamérica building will host 9 Cuartos, an exhibition of Costa Rican artists curated by Erika Martin, and Krama Yoga will present installations and photographs by María Fernanda Carlos.

At Jakob Karpio Gallery itself the public will encounter the work of Manuel Esnoz, José Rosenblatt, Francisco Valdés, and Javier Rossel. The cycle of activities will close with an exhibition by Argentinean artists Ana Cruz Iturrieta and Gerardo Echevarría at Villa Caletas-Zephyr Palace.
