FIVA (the International Video Art Festival, in its Spanish acronym) is inviting artists of any nationality to participate in the fourth edition of its event. Interested participants can submit, individually or as a group, up to two works on any subject before August 22, 2014. Submissions can be presented in DVD, AVI, MOV, MP4 or MPEG formats. The file or DVD must be labeled with the work's title, length, and author. Video installations or work produced prior to 2011 will not be accepted. A maximum length of 20 minutes is recommended. Submissions can be made as links for downloading the video file, which can be in any standard format but must not exceed 1GB in size to facilitate uploading/downloading. Submissions must be accompanied by a properly signed application form, CV of the artist, and a brief synopsis of the work presented for consideration.
