The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Colombia has opened its call for submissions for the fourth version of Intervenir en la historia. This event seeks to expand the field of vision and perception of historical topics through artistic interventions that enrich the visitor's experience and present them the dynamics of a contemporary museum. Interested candidates must submit proposals of intervention that dialog with, reflect upon, and tell in a unique way all that those spaces generate, and which can be represented in art. Six participants selected by a mixed jury will receive 1'500,000 Colombian pesos each as financing for the development of their projects. Submissions are accepted through October 15th at 5:00 pm (Colombian time). Intervenir la Historia is an initiative of La Casa Museo Quinta de Bolívar and the Ministry of Culture's Museo de la Independencia casa del Florero, with the support of Universidad de los Andes.
