"Interactivos 2013"

Eight years after launching its "Interactive Workshop", Espacio Fundación Telefónica de Buenos Aires opens its program of specialization in the aesthetics, curatorship, and exhibition of technological art. The call is addressed to artists who posses prior studies in the arts developed via technological processes.

The program will be held between June and December, 2013, in Arenales 1540, Buenos Aires, and will be coordinated by Rodrigo Alonso (graduate in fine arts with a specialization in contemporary art and new media) and Mariano Sardón (artist, researcher, professor and coordinator in the Electronic Arts program at Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero). In this edition, Espacio Fundación Telefónica will offer financial stimuli for some projects, to support their development.

Participants will also receive advice from guest specialists, in order to optimize their proposals. The results will ne presented in February, 2014, in an "Open Lab" exhibition to be held at Espacio Fundación Telefónica.

Candidacies can be presented individually or in groups of up to three members. Registration will be process via a form linked in the web page for the call, which asks for the candidates' general information, a conceptual description of the proposal, and a description of its structure indicating details and the operative aspects of the project. The deadline is May 18th, 2013.
