From May 3 to June 15, 2009, FOTOMUSEO ¿ the National Museum of Photography ¿ will present the 2009 edition of FOTOGRÁFICA BOGOTÁ. The event will include 72 museum exhibitions, 8 multiple exhibitions in public spaces such as 123 spaces in Transmilenio (Bogotá¿s mass transportation system), 100 bus stops (Eucoles), 60 displays at FOTOMUSEO modules, and 600 kiosks with a total of 1,200 images and fences in several areas around Bogotá. Likewise, 20 conferences will be held on theoretical discussions, at which guests such as Catherine Coleman from Spain, Lev Manovich from the U.S., and Guillermo Santos and Gustavo Chirolla from Colombia will participate. There will also be workshops given by international artists at several universities in Bogotá. The meeting will take place from May 4 to 7 at the Jorge Enrique Molina Auditorium of the Universidad Central, located at Carrera 5 No. 21¿38. The price of admission is $65 Colombian pesos (COP) for students and teachers and $80 COP for the general public.
