Artinpocket & the Convent of Sant Agustí announce the First International Barcelona Digital Art Award call, open to all Spanish and international artists with the goal of promoting and encouraging artistic creation through digital media. The award will be granted to the three best, never before published, digital art projects in the following three categories: • International Digital Art Award 2015 for best photographic project or digital image. The winner will receive a Canon imagePROGRAF printer valued at 1,600.00 euros. • International Digital Art Award 2015 for best multimedia installation project, with a purse of 1,200.00 euros for the best work. • International Digital Art Award 2015 for best video art project, with a purse of 1,200.00 euros for the best work. Candidates may participate with up to five works per artist. The works must be exclusively executed and displayed in digital format. Analog works converted to digital format will not be accepted. Works will be evaluated in this case according to the manner in which they combine different mediums for artistic expression— especially image, movement, sound and text. Participants may choose any theme they want and may participate in any of the three categories. Candidates may participate individually or as part of a group, without any restrictions of age, nationality, education, etc. The project must be submitted in digital format (pdf, word, etc.) at the homepage of Mostra Simultània d'Art Digital, as a single document that includes the following documentation Personal information: full name, address, telephone number, email, etc; Applicant's CV. Description of the group of works (up to 3,000 characters total or 400 characters per work). Image or link of the works submitted for the contest.
