Theft Carlos Weil Collection

Carlos Weil has suffered the theft of several works of art from his collection. The works disappeared from the warehouses used by the Bernheim gallery in Panama City. The theft involves more than 300 works of art and 500 valuable objects, with an estimated total value of US$3¿500,000. Among the pieces disappeared are originals by Armando Morales, Benjamín Cañas, Fernando de Szyslo, Olga Sinclair, Reineiro Tamayo, Roberto Matta, Carlos Araújo, and Santiago Carbonel.
