From August 6 through September 6, 2013, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia and the Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño (FUGA), present the exhibition entitled Irregular Hexagon: Colombian Art in Residency, on display at the FUGA's exhibition space.
Created by José Ignacio Roca and welcomed as an important component of the Program of Internationalization of Colombian Art of the Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño and the Plan to Promote Colombia Abroad, launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the project Irregular Hexagon: Colombian Art in Residency permitted that in 2012 Mateo López, María José Arjona, Luz Ángela Lizarazo, Delcy Morelos and Johanna Calle—six figures that are representative of contemporary art in Colombia—developed residencies and presented exhibitions in places as varied as Australia, Turkey, Morocco, Singapore, Israel and Vietnam.
