Guillermo Kuitca: Everything, Paintings, and Works on Paper, (1980-2008)

Miami Art Museum premieres the widest survey of the work of Argentine artist Guillermo Kuitca ever presented in North America. MAM will present Guillermo Kuitca: Everything, Paintings and Works on Paper, 1980-2008 through January 17, 2010. The museum will also host Guillermo Kuitca: Everything (else), Large Scale at the Freedom Tower. Guillermo Kuitca: Everything, Paintings and Works on Paper, 1980-2008 will show the artist¿s evolution throughout his 28 year career. This will be transpired through more than 50 canvases and 25 works on paper. For Guillermo Kuitca: Everything (else), Large Scale at the Freedom Tower, MAM is teaming up with the Art Gallery System of Miami Dade College, which owns and operates the historical building. They present 32 Seating Plans, 2007 a piece comprised of 32 drawings and two large-scale paintings named: Everything, 2004, and The Ring, 2002, which are each over 20 feet wide. ¿Der Fliegende Hollander¿ (Scrim Suite), 2009, will also be on view for the first time.
