Ruralive Colombia seeks to use tourism to improve the habitability of rural areas and the quality of life for families with limited resources; it has among its goals the elimination of poverty in those areas of the country.
Under those guidelines it has created the first Rural Gallery, which will promote development not only in economic terms, but also in social and cultural terms, of the Hojas Anchas area of the Supía-Caldas municipality, through the first "Rural Artistic Call" that seeks to generate social interventions by means of art for the beautification of the area homes and the transformation of Hojas Anchas into a highly appealing tourist destination.
The project will be presented at the next Global Social Business Summit, the largest yearly event for social business, to be held in Vienna from November 8th through 10th.
