Fountainhead announces its 2025 artist residency

The roster is composed of 21 contemporary artists from around the world who work across various media. Selected artists will live and work onsite at the residency facility in Miami’s historic Morningside neighborhood for one month. The immersive residency program offers artists time and space to create work, be inspired by Miami, and nurture relationships and connections that can help artists thrive in their careers, fulfilling the organization’s mission to elevate artists’ voices and transform society through their work.
This year’s applications were thoughtfully reviewed by an esteemed panel of curators and program alum working across the nation, which included José Diaz, the Susan Brotman Deputy Director for Art at the Seattle Art Museum; Naima J. Keith, Vice President of Education and Public Programs at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Joaquin Segura, a visual artist, Fountainhead alum and founding member of SOMA Arts; and Arden Sherman, a senior curator of contemporary art at the Norton Museum of Art.
