Exhibition of Women Artists at the Museo Nacional de Colombia

"Intimate Voices" is the upcoming temporary exhibition presented at the Museo Nacional de Colombia from November 11 to February 5. A curatorial selection of works that expand from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century, the show includes the artistic visions of eighteen women that convey the role of women in Colombian society through their works. The exhibition is part of the Museo Nacional de Colombia's efforts to vindicate and recognize the importance of women artists. For this reason, the show explores notions of intimacy approached from five perspectives: "Home," "Diaries," "Body," "Desire," and "Silence." The show includes works by artists like Margarita Holguín-Caro, Teresa Cuervo-Borda, Beatriz Daza, Beatriz González, Feliza Burstyn, Hena Rodríguez, María Teresa Hincapié, Débora Arango, and Adriana Marmorek, among others.
