NC-arte announces the appointment of its new director, Estefanía Neme Hakim, who joins the team with her experience in artistic design, interior design, and project management.
After ten years of working in the contemporary art scene and presenting site-specific projects, NC-arte will expand its exhibition model by incorporating proposals exploring the interaction and dialogue between art, design, and architecture.
The new program will focus on the intersection of these disciplines concerning the objectual to make research processes, creation, and production methods visible. The NC-arte project is conceived as a constant platform for experimentation and creative thinking.
Estefanía Neme Hakim is an Industrial Designer from the Universidad de los Andes. She studied Scenography at the Marangoni Institute in Paris. She has managed and directed projects such as La Vitrina, a pioneer in artistic scenography for the visualization of corporate brands. Additionally, she designs interior design concepts and produces contemporary furniture collaborating with artists and designers.
