MOCA Nomi Director’s position available

Since mid-December the local and specialized news in the art world reported on the paid administrative leave of Babacar M'Bow from his position as director of MOCA Nomi, as well as recent official confirmation of the permanent removal from his position. Mr. M'Bow is a Senegal-born scholar with a doctorate from the Sorbonne in Paris, specializing in the sociology of image, who has served 11 years in the Broward County Libraries and directed a commercial gallery in Little Haiti. City of North Miami officials have confirmed the opening of the position for director of MOCA which is currently posted on the City of North Miami's website until midnight Thursday February 18.
