Espace-Expression

The new venue Espace-Expression opens its doors to the public in the Miami Arts District in the context of Art Basel and its accompanying fairs.
It is a space conceived as a center for thematic exhibitions whose goal is to promote and inform about the various discourses centered on geometric abstraction that were developed during the Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries.
The inaugural act will present Homage to Denise René. Past, Present and Future of a Vision, an exhibition that pays tribute to Denise René and includes the participation of important artists in the fields of constructive and geometric art.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until February 29 of 2014. By the hand of the French Galeríe Denise René, the exhibition gathers for the first time in Miami an exceptional show of 80 works by 54 artists. Part of the French gallery, the pieces will offer a variety of proposals inscribed in the artistic line of the mythic Parisian venue: geometric abstraction and constructive art. Some of the artists participating in the show include Soto, Crespín, Heurtaux, David Bill, Anne Blanchet, Santiago Torres, Miguel Chevallier, Le Parc, Stein, Tinguely, Zimoun, Pe Lang, Agam and Cruz-Diez, among others.
