Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1915. He moves to New York in 1934. Enters in the Army under General Patton fighting in Austria and France. After the war he decides to move again to New York where he attends the Art Student League under Reginal Marsh, Robert Brackman and Koniyoshi. He exhibited several times in Barcelona and in all the Art Museums and Art Institutions in Puerto Rico. During his career he received The American International Academy Award and The Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Grant.
