Conference of Young Art History Researchers

The Conference of Young Art History Researchers is an initiative organized by the three Art History Departments of the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. This yearly conference aims at being a meeting point for student researchers that are well into the development of their doctoral theses or that have recently completed their doctoral degrees and are willing to share the themes of their works, with a particular emphasis on their methodological aspects.

The call will remain open until January 15 of 2014. Those interested in participating in the Sixth Complutense Conference of Young Art History Researchers that will take place from April 23 through April 25 of 2014, may send their project proposals to vi.encuentro.ucm@gmail.com. The proposal must be a Word document with a brief description of the proposal that ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 words. The heading must include: name and last names, e-mail address, mail address, the university and department to which the applicant belong to or graduated from.

The name of the Word archive must follow the following format: Last Name_Name_Title.doc. The event's scientific committee will announce the results beginning on March 1st of 2014.
