The Fundación Uncastillo will organize the sixth edition of the Encuentra artists¿ encounter, from July 22 through July 30, 2011. The call is open to all contemporary artists. Applicants must submit two copies of the following documentation to the Fundación by June 17 of this year at the latest: the artist's Curriculum Vitae, a description of the project-including detailed specifications of the requirements for its creation¿and images of some of the artist's previously completed works. A maximum of 7 scholarships will be granted. Each scholarship will cover room and board expenses, and will reimburse the artist up to 400 euros for the materials and other purchases associated with the creation of the work (in accordance with the project requirements previously submitted by the artist). Artists must commit to submit their final works by July 30, 2011-the last day of the encounter-in order to be in time for the mounting of the inaugural exhibition.
