Emplea Cultura

Fundación Banco Santander, with the support of Openbank, announces the second edition of Emplea Cultura, a program aimed at providing young people access to job opportunities in the field of contemporary visual culture. The call is divided into two differentiated phases: the first, aimed at organizations interested in providing a job opportunities; and, the second, aimed at young people interested in taking those jobs. Ten job positions offered by ten different organizations will be selected during the first phase. Fundación Banco Santander will cover the yearly salary of 23,000 euros offered to each of the young candidates. The selection of the organizations providing the jobs was entrusted to a committee formed by: Lorena Martínez del Corral, art critic and curator; Aída Sánchez de Serdio, head of Educación y Públicos of the Museo Reina Sofía; Antonio Sánchez-Luengo, deputy director of Bellas Artes of the Comunidad de Madrid; Manuela Villa, responsible for content at Matadero Madrid; Enrique Villalba, director of the Cultural Management Masters Program of the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid; Susana Gómez-San Segundo, head of Educación y Talento Joven of the Fundación Banco Santander; and Borja Baselga-Canthal, director of the Fundación Banco Santander.
