Frieze New York, a sister fair of its British homonym, awarded its top honor to Spanish gallery Elba Benítez's booth. This recognition is given to the most innovative exhibition space, and it includes an 18,000-dollar monetary award.
Held at Randall's Island Park in Manhattan in May, 2013, this second edition of Frieze New York featured 180 galleries from 32 countries.
Elba Benítez presented a monographic exhibit, with paintings and sculptures on cardboard by Carlos Bunga, all displayed under natural light.
