The19th "Huétor Vega Granada" Photographic Competition is an initiative by the "Paso del Zute" project. It began in 1996, when it first presented at the El Carmen de San Rafael de Huértor Vega, an exhibition venue solely dedicated to presenting photographic retrospectives. Since then, yearly competitions became an integral part of the project, as a way of offering the public an opportunity to participate in setting the agenda of the place. This is the 19th edition of the event. Three photographs will be chosen to receive first, second, and third prizes that will consist of a purse of 600, 350, and 200 euros respectively. On the other hand, the finalist works will be exhibited at the aforementioned exhibition space, from May 20 through June 3, 2011. The winning works will become property of the City Hall of Huértor Vega, and the works that did not receive awards will be returned to their authors in a period of 3 month after the winners¿ announcement.
