Sol LeWitt estate and Microsoft launch an application to navigate the artist's work

The Estate of Sol LeWitt (1928-2007) and Microsoft announced developing an application that allows users to navigate through the creative process and the artist's important works. LeWitt is recognized as one of the founders of conceptual art and one of the key figures of minimalism, as well as for his large wall installations, the influence of which has been seen by generations of creators. The application that uses AI technology (Artificial Intelligence) can be downloaded through all devices that use Windows, iOS, and Android. Among the various possibilities for approaching LeWitt's work is a virtual tour of his studio in Connecticut.
The application named Sol LeWitt was created and curated by Lindsay Aveilhé, a specialist in his work, editor of several of the artist's catalogue raisonné, and with a great interest in technology supporting the artistic education. Aveilhé said, referring to the artist, "He believed that anyone can be an artist and that he and those who assisted him would become collaborators in the creation of art ... and, in that way, art becomes more democratic."
