The Museo Nacional de la Fotografía of Colombia, FotoMuseo, opens the call to submit for the IX FotoMaratón 2020
The FotoMaratón is a unique event in which, for two days, September 12 and 13, participants are challenged to complete the PhotoRoute: one (1) photograph for each of the 20 themes proposed will be revealed when the 2020 FotoMaratón starts on September 10. Due to the confinement and the population movement control in different countries, the photographs will have to be taken in the residential places of each participant, during the weekend from 00:00 hrs (UTC) on September 12, until 11:55 p.m. (UTC) on September 13.
Due to the world events caused by the pandemic, it allowed the FotoMuseo to extend its call to everyone, in a 100% online version. The contest invites everyone to participate without distinction whatsoever, which grants back the opportunity to recognize our territory.
Image specialists with an outstanding career in photography will make up the jury. They will select the winners for every category and the best photos of the IX FotoMaratón 2020. Two awards will be offered for the Professional, Hobbyist, and mobile photography per category.
