The Jumex Museum inaugurates an exhibition dedicated to Damien Hirst

On March 23rd, the Jumex Museum will open its doors to a new exhibition dedicated to the British artist Damien Hirst. Titled "Living Forever (for a moment)", this showcase will be curated by Ann Gallagher alongside the artist himself, offering a comprehensive overview of Hirst's work from 1986 to 2019.
"Living Forever (for a moment)" will exhibit nearly 60 works including installations, sculptures, and paintings, among which some of Hirst's most iconic series stand out, such as "Natural History", "Spin Paintings", "Medicine Cabinets", and "Cherry Blossoms". Since the late 80s, Damien Hirst has positioned himself as a prominent figure in the international art world. In 1991, he produced one of his most polemic works, "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living", a 1.20-meter shark preserved in a tank of formaldehyde.
The exhibition will be open to the public until August 24, 2024, at the Jumex Museum, located at Blvd. Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 303, Granada, Miguel Hidalgo, 11520 Mexico City, Mexico.
