New York Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, to reopen its Manhattan facilities.

Next November 20 MoMA will host an inaugural celebration for its Manhattan, New York site. The event commemorates MoMA¿s 75th anniversary. After the expansion and remodelling, directed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi, the Museum has doubled its spatial capacity. The design pondered on taking advantage of natural light, and combined it with materials such as crystal, granite and aluminium in order to create an elegant structure modulated by changes in perspective and visual angles. Included among visitor services are a restaurant, two coffee shops, a library, and an exhibition store specialized on products related to the temporary exhibitions. Admission to the museum will be free of charge during the reopening day, as a special gift to the public for their support.
