The Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín (MAMM) opened its doors from July 8

On Wednesday, July 8, the Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín (MAMM) reopened its doors to the public after more than three months of closing them as a temporary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
According to the director, María Mercedes González, “this is a commitment to the city, to provide it with new spaces for the citizen encounter from the enjoyment of art and complying with all safety and hygiene measures. We want our visitors to have a safe, trustworthy, and friendly experience that will comfort them amid the difficult situations of the crisis.”
Within the measures taken by the Museum to guarantee a safe, reliable, and supportive visit, there will be reopening in phases. Initially, you can only visit the exhibitions in the galleries of the Talleres Robledo building on the first floor: “Libia Posada. Definición del Horizonte” and “David Escobar Parra. Tiempo de Perros Mudos.”
Both exhibitions have a suggested route, and the information can be downloaded through a QR code located in the galleries.
