As an initiative to keep its visitors connected to art, the Guggenheim Museum has made more than 200 art books available for free download.
Bibliographic material includes an extraordinary historical archive of exhibition catalogs, books on important artists such as Klimt, Kandinsky, Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Max Ernst, Munch, Van Gogh, Lucio Fontana, Bill Viola, among others.
The archive can be browsed by artist, year of publication, subject, and language (among other categories); the set of books is made up of material that dates back to 1926. Catalogs can be downloaded in different formats, including Kindle and PDF, with a small registration format. There is also an option to enjoy them directly on the web page.
