The intern in the Department of Architecture and Contemporary Art will participate in all programmatic activities of the department, which includes a wide range of subjects in contemporary art, architecture, and cinema, as well as ongoing digital projects and preparation for the upcoming initiative Pacific Standard Time: L.A./L.A. The intern will assist with research projects, acquisitions, exhibitions, publications, and public programs. The intern will work closely with curators and staff within the department, as well as with visiting scholars, filmmakers, artists and other collaborators. The ideal candidate will have a specialized interest in Latin America. Reading and writing fluency in Spanish would be ideal along with advanced reading knowledge of Portuguese.
