The Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans (CAC) is looking for a Visual Arts Curator.

The curator will work in consultation with the Director of the Center to create and oversee a multidisciplinary exhibition program that reflects the mission of the Contemporary arts Center (CAC): - The candidate will organize and coordinate visual arts programs and activities with other academic institutions, organizations and communities. - He/she will oversee the budgets of the programs and will research current practices in the field of the visual arts. - He/she will organize academic activities and programs in collaboration with the department of education and Public Programs of the CAC. Candidates must have a BA or BFA in art, art history or a related field or significant directly-related professional experience—a minimum of five years—as a curator, gallery director or visual arts administrator.
