“Efectos Secundarios” is a call from the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá - MAMBO, to investigate the environmental and sustainable effects of our present connected to this uncertain scenario that we are experiencing, through a new work that addresses the relationship between nature, landscape, and territory.
•The work will be presented during the first exhibition cycle of MAMBO in 2021 at the Museum venue. The submitted proposals must be conceived to show in experimental video, single or multi-channel video, video installation, virtual reality and / or pieces of sound art for the Multiple Gallery or the Sonia and Carlos Haime Gallery of the Museum.

Award:
MAMBO will recognize an assembly value of up to COP 5,000,000 (FIVE MILLION COLOMBIAN PESOS M / CTE), which will include expenses related to the transport of the work within the city of Bogotá, construction insurance, museum design, materials, tools, and gallery installers. Additionally, MAMBO will recognize a value for the rental of technological equipment of up to COP 20,000,000 (TWENTY MILLION COLOMBIAN PESOS M / CTE).
Applicant Profile:
•Intermediate trajectory audiovisual artists or filmmakers: Colombian artists and creators residing in the country or abroad or foreign artists living in Colombia, and who have a minimum demonstrable trajectory of six (6) years, in the audiovisual arts field.
•Long-time audiovisual artists or filmmakers: Colombian artists and creators residing in the country or abroad or foreign artists settled in Colombia and have a minimum demonstrable trajectory of fifteen (15) years, in the field of audiovisual arts.
Who can participate?
•Audiovisual artists or filmmakers in their own name: people over 18, Colombian or foreign, who individually submit a proposal to be executed solely by him or her.
•Groups or collectives made up of artists.
•Legal persons, public or private, as long as they are constituted as artists or artist studios and workshops.
Annotation: The participant may apply by choosing the pseudonym or nickname modality to identify himself as a proponent in the evaluation process. Accordingly, administrative documents must be sent in a sealed envelope marked with the pseudonym and the number of the participant's identification document. The said envelope will remain closed until the moment in which the jury has deliberated.
