10th Anniversary of Andy Warhol Museum

As part of the celebrations for its 10th anniversary, the Andy Warhol Museum has announced a special show at Ronal Feldman Fine Arts, in New York City. The show opened on June 10, coinciding with the publication of Andy Warhol:365 Takes: The Andy Warhol Museum Collection by Harry N. Abrams Inc. The relationship between the museum and Ronald Feldman Fine Arts results from the fact that it was Ronald Fedman who first edited Warhol¿s graphic oeuvre. Many of the artist¿s better-known works will be included in this show, alongside sculptures, prints, film images, and archival photographs rarely seen outside the Museum. One of the show¿s main attractions will be a collaborative sculpture by Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Ten Punching Bags (Last Supper), created between 1985 and 986. Andy Warhol:365 Takes: The Andy Warhol Museum Collection will be an introduction and manual for the museum¿s permanent collection. The book combines testimonies about Warhol and commentaries by museum members, with 365 illustrations of paintings, prints, drawings, and archive materials.
