The Máster PHotoEspaña (Escuela PIC.A) launches its online course titled "The Editor (Not Only) Wants Good Photos." Taught by artist Cecilia Azniv-Lutufyan, the long-distance course will cover all phases and tools involved in the editorial field. It will be taught from Monday, October 23 through Friday, October 27, 2017. The course will introduce photographers to the specialized language used in graphic media and will provide the necessary tools for the development of a personalized approach within that context. The course targets photographers looking to immerse themselves into the editorial world, learn more about the working relationship with publishing editors, and/or photographers who wish to hone their professional skills. Through practical exercises and the utilization of examples of media coverage performed by magazines, image selection and page layout processes, students will learn how to approach a story, train their gaze and edit their own material by building the right profile to collaborate in the medium.
