The Orlando Museum of Art promoted Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon to chief curator. She has worked at the institution since 2018 and has been the co-curator of the annual Florida Contemporary Art Prize for the past five years. The award recognizes promising artists and experienced professionals of the contemporary art scene in this state.
Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon is originally from France, grew up in Niger (Africa), and holds an MA in Visual Culture and a BA with honors in Culture, Media, and Communications from Lancaster University (UK), as well as a DEUG in Language Sciences and Cultural Mediation from the Université Paul Cézanne, Aix-Marseille III, in France.
