Open Call. Premio Arte Joven 2023
The call for entries for the Premio Arte Joven 2023 is open until September 29, aimed at Colombian artists under the age of 35. This is the sixteenth edition of this award organized by Colsanitas and the Embajada de España en Colombia, whose jury will be comprised of María Isabel Rueda and a representative from each institution organizing the award: Galería Nueveochenta, Colsanitas, the Embajada de España en Colombia and a guest jury from the latter.
María Isabel Rueda will choose 25 of the works presented in the open call, which will be exhibited at the Nueveochenta Gallery in a group show to be inaugurated on October 19. Among them, the jury will choose the winners: the first place will receive $30,000,000 COP and an artistic residency in Madrid, and the second place will receive $15,000,000 COP. There will also be eight finalists who will receive $1,500,000 COP.
The winners (first and second place) of the Young Art Prize 2023 will be announced on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Galería Nueveochenta.
